Our Independent Living Skills courses (ILS) are for those with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) to help improve their skills towards an independent life in the community.

Learn by doing
It鈥檚 not all about the classroom. You鈥檒l take part in visits to local shops, museums, and community spaces – practicing your skills in real-world settings. You鈥檒l also get involved in projects like fundraising and enterprise, which build teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills.
The best thing about ILS is my communicator, she鈥檚 so funny and makes learning fun! The tutors are great too, and I鈥檝e made lots of new friends. We get to try everything, cooking, painting, gardening, music, and sports, and we even go on trips to learn how to use public transport.
